Installation Instructions for Linux:

1. Get the latest Java JRE from SUN
   
   
2. Get the Java3D libraries Blackdown
   
   
3. Install the Java and Java3D using either Tar or RPM
   
   
4. Down Load the "upms.jar" file and the tar file "UPMS_Linux.tar" for your Linux.[Registered User] [New User]
   
   
5. Untar the tar file and put the "upms.jar" file in the same directory where you untared "UPMS_Linux.tar" file
   
   
6. Change the .cshrc file to set the environment variable $UPMSHOME to the directory where you installed the jar file and other binaries. Change the $PATH variable to include the directory where you installed the binaries.
   
   
7. Run the program upms.bat
